The °Ä²Êͼ¿â and the live nature cam network Explore.org have
launched the network's first live webcam stream dedicated to one of the Arctic's most
iconic animals: the muskox.
The impact of drought on agriculture is the topic of two free workshops offered through
the National Drought Mitigation Center, °Ä²Êͼ¿â Cooperative Extension Service and the
U.S. Department of Agriculture Northwest Climate Hub. The workshops will be held in person from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in Delta
Junction (location to be determined) and Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Matanuska Experiment
Farm and Extension Center in Palmer. The Palmer workshop also will have a remote option.
Lunch will be provided at the in-person sessions to those by Nov. 7.
The Alaska Center for Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship at the University
of Alaska Fairbanks has been awarded a federal grant to assist small businesses and
startups. Evelyn Jacome, Alaska FAST director, will share more information about opportunities
